Here is an easy and affordable DIY fine motor craft for your toddler! The great thing about this is depending on what items you have to craft with at your home, you can switch it up to create your own version of a snowman :) Check out how to make your own below:
Materials:
Felt (any color)
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Mason jar (any size will do)
Sharpie
Cotton balls
Googly eyes
Tongs or tweezers (optional, and great for older children)
Start by warming up your hot glue gun, and cutting out your felt pieces (a triangle, and a skinny rectangle with small snips in the end for fringe).
Once your glue gun is all ready, add tiny dabs to your mason jar to glue on your eyes, carrot nose, and scarf. Allow this to dry, then add your snowman mouth, by drawing small circles with sharpie. Boom! You're done and all set for your little to have fun "building" their own snowman! For added challenge and to promote tripod grasp, try using large tongs or tweezers to place in the cotton pieces.
I hope you and your littles enjoy this activity as much as Eloise did!
